Credits & billing

Billing and refunds

Trials, plan changes, credit refunds, and what happens when you uninstall.

All Imagefall billing runs through Shopify — charges appear on your regular Shopify invoice, and you never give us payment details directly. This article covers trials, plan changes, credit refunds, and what happens if you uninstall.

Plans and trials

Paid plans are Starter ($19.99/mo, 100 credits), Growth ($49.99/mo, 400 credits), and Scale ($99.99/mo, 1,200 credits). Every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial with the full credit allowance available from day one. Cancel before the trial ends and you’re never charged. Annual billing is available on all paid plans at 20% off the monthly price.

Upgrades, downgrades, cancellation

  • Upgrades take effect immediately; Shopify prorates the charge for the remainder of the cycle, and your credit allowance increases right away.
  • Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle, so you keep what you paid for until then.
  • Cancelling drops you to the free plan at the end of the paid period. Your audit keeps working, and everything you applied to your store stays applied — assets on your listings are yours.

Credit refunds

Credits are refunded automatically whenever a generation step fails — without you asking. You only pay for work that was actually delivered to your review gallery. Details are in Troubleshooting failed steps. Remember that unused credits also roll over for one month, so a quiet month isn’t lost — see Understanding credits.

Subscription refunds

Because charges are processed by Shopify, subscription refunds are handled case by case. If you believe a charge was made in error — for example, you were billed after cancelling, or a technical problem on our side made the app unusable for a sustained period — contact support@imagefall.com within 30 days of the charge and we’ll review it promptly. We aim to be generous when the problem was ours.

Uninstalling and your data

When you uninstall, Shopify notifies us and issues a data-erasure request under its GDPR webhook framework. We then delete your stored product images, generated assets, and store metadata from our systems. Assets already applied to your listings live in your Shopify store and are unaffected — they’re yours. If you reinstall later, Imagefall starts fresh with a new audit.
