What does one Refresh actually produce?
From a single source photo: a clean hero packshot, two to three lifestyle scenes tuned to your brand profile, an on-model shot, a five-second product video, SEO alt text for every image, and optionally a 3D/AR asset. You review everything side-by-side and apply only what you want.
Will my photos look AI-generated?
The hero packshot is composited from your actual pixels (background removed, studio backdrop, real grounding shadow), never re-rendered, so labels and details stay exact. Scenes and model shots are generated, clearly labeled, and run through an automatic fidelity check that flags anything that drifted from your product before you ever see it. And nothing ships until you approve it.
How much does one Refresh cost?
A Photo Refresh is 8 credits. A Full Refresh, which adds a third scene, the on-model shot, and the product video, is 12–15 depending on your category; add 3D for 10 more. That's a few dollars of a monthly plan. Any step that fails refunds its credits automatically, and your first Photo Refresh is free.
Can I use the assets outside my product pages?
Yes. Everything you generate is downloadable in full resolution. Run the lifestyle scenes in ads, post the video to social, drop the packshot into email campaigns. Applied to Shopify or not, the assets are yours.
Is there a free trial?
The Free plan is the trial. Install Imagefall, get the full store audit, and run one Photo Refresh on your own product, with no card and no credits needed. When you subscribe, billing starts that day through Shopify and your monthly credits land immediately. Cancel any time in Shopify; anything you already applied to your store stays there.
Do unused credits roll over?
Yes. Unused credits roll over for one month. For example, if you finish a month on Growth with 150 credits left, you'll start the next month with 550 (150 rolled over + 400 new). Rolled-over credits that go unused a second month expire.
What happens to my data if I uninstall?
When you uninstall, Shopify sends us a data-erasure request and we delete your stored product images, generated assets, and store metadata in line with GDPR requirements. Assets you already applied to your store are yours and stay on your Shopify listings.
How do you handle AI disclosure?
Honestly. AI-generated imagery is labeled inside the app, you review every asset before it touches your store, and on-model shots come with an optional disclosure setting (on by default) that marks synthetic models in the image alt text. You stay in control of what your customers see.
What does the 3D beta include?
On Growth and Scale, you can generate a 3D model (GLB) of a product for 12 credits standalone, or add it to a Full Refresh for 10, and apply it to your Shopify product page, where it powers the native 3D viewer and AR view on phones. It works best for rigid products like mugs, bottles, shoes, and furniture, and is not recommended for clothing. As a beta, quality can vary; failed generations are automatically refunded.
